In every family, there is always someone who stands out as a model, and most times, that person is the mother. Mothers are very important in the life of every child and every home.

A mother plays a big role in guiding, teaching, supporting, and protecting her children. I am lucky to have a beautiful mum who stands by me. She is my model, my friend, and my playmate. Her name is Mrs. Aririelelam Ezinne.

My mum is the first child in her family, so she learned how to be responsible from a young age. Even as a teenager, she supported her family and relatives. This made her very experienced in taking care of the home and children.

My mum knows when I am bothered even without me saying anything. She understands every move and feeling of her children. She knows when I am hurt, sad, or worried. She gives me confidence and teaches me to be open and free. She encourages me to rise above my mates and to see myself as who I truly am, not what others want me to be.

My mum is the best, wise, strong, and dedicated. If I were to choose a mother again, I would still choose her. Every moment I remember that I have a mum like her, my heart is filled with joy.

Mrs. Ezinne Aririelelam, mother of the writer
