Kellyrae has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 9, securing the grand prize of N60 million, an SUV, and other rewards. The show's finale, which took place on Sunday, saw Kellyrae outshine fellow finalists Wanni, who finished as the first runner-up, and Onyeka, who took third place.
With his win, Kellyrae joins the ranks of previous
BBNaija winners, including last season’s All-Stars victor, Ilebaye Odiniya,
known as the "Gen Z Baddie."
This season, themed "No Loose Guard," premiered
on July 24, 2024, and introduced an exciting twist where participants entered
the competition in pairs. After weeks of intense competition, only one pair and
six individual contestants made it to the final. The finalists included
Victoria, Ozee, Sooj, Nelly, and Anita, with Kellyrae, Victoria, and Wanni
considered fan favorites for the top spots.
The grand finale was a star-studded event, featuring
performances by popular musicians Joeboy and Qing Madi, adding to the
excitement of the evening.
